You are in for a treat this Sunday, Trinity Sunday.

We won’t focus as much on the doctrine of the Trinity as we will seeing and hearing it in action. Our reading from Acts 2 will continue the story of this new Christian community, now enlivened and enthused by the gift of the Holy Spirit. They are moving out into the world proclaiming the good news of the Gospel with bold speech, joyful teaching, prayer, and signs and wonders. This is the fulfillment prepared for centuries: that God would incarnate Himself not only in Jesus, but also in His people, Jew and Gentile alike.

You and I will see and hear how this is working out in the ministry of one of our overseas missionaries, Aaron and Courtney Baldridge. Their family is ministering in Guinea as pediatric medical missionaries for Hope Ignited among some of the most needy. Together they will be sharing their testimony of how God is working through them to bring healing and hope to this West African nation.
