This Sunday is our celebration of All Saints Day, the feast we observe on the Sunday closest to November 1. You won't believe the story of how we came up with the name All Saints Dallas. It's hard to believe that 15 years ago we began with just 17 people!
This Sunday we will share some of that story, His story, and take time to remember God’s incredible faithfulness in bringing ASD from where it began to where we are now, as we look forward to how He will lead us into the future. You won't believe all that is happening this Sunday:
Celebration of 15 years- marking how God has led us with a cloud by day and a pillar or fire by night. Join us upstairs for a few minutes after each service for cupcakes and to watch a short documentary full of interviews and testimonies about the story of All Saints Dallas.
Celebration of baptisms- at 9:30 am and 11:00 am.
Celebration of the Ingathering- bring your Generosity Cards that were sent to you.
Celebration of the McCords and Dowsetts (Mike, Julia Anne, Jim and Carol)- as they retire from full time ministry from Wycliff Bible Translators.
Celebration of the saints who have gone before us- we will name and remember those you all have submitted who have died this past year during Holy Communion.
Celebration of an extra hour of sleep- as we “fall back” one hour Sunday morning.
Celebration of welcome- bring your friends, family and newcomers to ASD as we continue to live out radical inclusivity and profound transformation.
Celebration of 15 years of ministry and worship- incorporating the 3 streams of scripture, sacraments and the Holy Spirit.
Celebration of 15 years with our one mission statement- “Live in God’s Presence. Live Out His Love."
Come, See and Believe.
