This Sunday we will experience again the love, faith and hope of the gospel in healing services and teaching at all 3 worship gatherings. As in the past, there will be teaching/preaching about many of the aspects of healing. Many of you have responded to the email sent a few days ago to submit prayer requests for particular healing needs. (You can read that email HERE.) This has been very helpful in ordering some of our prayers for this Sunday around areas both physical and emotional as we have done in the past. ASD is continually committed to the fact that “every time we pray something happens and sometimes when we pray everything happens.” We lift these prayers to Him with expectation. We need a good biblical theology of healing and a theology of suffering. That’s both biblical and encouraging. Also, don’t forget we want your children to remain in the sanctuary so they can be prayed for and pray for others. Finally, this is a great time to invite friends and family to experience the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit in worship, prayer and Holy Communion.
